I will warn you ahead of time, before you read my comic for it.

It does not, in any way, poke fun at Michael Jackson.

You might, however, find it offensive because this is my view on the publicity of his death. I've got nothing against the guy; I'm more concerned with his huge fanbase and the worship-like cries of agony I've seen/heard across the Internet.

    Ready?

    Set?

    Read.

So Mr. Grease, what is it you're saying about Michael Jackson? Do you like him? Do you dislike him? Are you envious of him and the attention he had and is still getting? You referred to a comic that you wrote about him. I didn't see any comic. If you wrote a comic that you want people to see, then show it.

I went and looked at your comics. You are very similar in style, language, opinion, and everything else, to Amoeba. Why are you pretending to be somebody else?

This text wall is dedicated to Stonewall. Read it if you plan on standing your ground, Stonewall Jackson:

First off, before I get to proving that I'm my own person and am not part of Amoeba or one of his offshoots, I must point out your own hypocrisy in your personal attacks on me. I could care less about getting as much fame as Michael Jackson, and I love how the converse of that is among the first things you say about me. I'd also like to point out that you had created your account at least 11 hours ago, at the time of this posting. Yes, I read your profile information for the forum, then viewed your user account (which has no 'toons', FYI), so you would be ignorant of my account being older than Amoeba's unless you yourself were either already existing on ToonDoo as someone else or otherwise witnessed the workings of ToonDoo with a friend who has it. I assume the former or the fact that you're a clone as well, since you mentioned in your post about the 'clones' that you were known as 'paintitblack', and then you decide to systematically attack robby_rob, who also happens to have an older account than aMoeba as well, in your toons on your alternate account, if you're really an alternate and not an impersonator yourself.

I am not by any means Amoeba. For one, I've been around much longer than they. Secondly,  I don't concentrate on poking fun at worldly religions. In fact, my opinion on religion (note: I'm a Christian) is much different than Amoeba's. I'm no militant Christian; I just keep to my own business for the most part and don't rampage about, yelling at 'heathens' that they're going to Hell and whatnot.

I'm surprised that you can't see the JPG image in my original post. Perhaps you need to either A : use a different browser (I heard Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome work much better than Internet Explorer... you'll have to find out yourself if you are using Safari), B : get a new computer, C : go to my website which the image in my original post (if you're being technical and you can really see it, but you don't acknowledge it as a 'comic') came from and then tell me if my views are similar to Amoeba's, or D : keep to your own business.

Now, for everyone else to read:

I am not making fun of Michael Jackson, in case none of you Private Dicks caught that in the first post. To be specific, I'm commenting on his fanbase. I'm commenting on the fact that he's gotten more publicity than Ed McMahon and Farrah Fawcett combined (I later learned yesterday that Billy Mays died as well, but he still didn't get remotely as much publicity than MJ).

Incidentally, the proof of me not being Amoeba can be found in the links below:

Gee Renard, don't get your panties all in a bunch! I tried to make sense out of what you said in response to my comment. I had a difficult time doing that. I'm not sure, but I think I was able to understand your attempt to use misdirection by talking about age of accounts, browsers, and other things which don't relate to anything I've said.

So let's get back to Michael Jackson. I'm just curious why you are personally concerned about his fan base and their response to his death?

I think he was an incredible performer, who due to his very calculated and artificial personna, and a very fat wallet, was able to sexually molest kids and get away with it. So he was an incredible performer, and a rotten person. That's what I thought of him when he was alive, and that's what I think of him now that he's dead.

Now, back to you...you're as phony as the day is long.

Well, RenardGris, I'm not gonna say anything bad about that, because it's your opinion. You guys shouldn't make fun of RenardGris because he's just expressing HIS opinion. Its still ok to say what you think, though.

just wanted 2 let u guys know...

Thanks for the compliment, savingabelrocks. I don't consider it an essay, really, more like a wall of text equivalent to that of a typical conspiracy text wall, except without the conspiracy.

In case any of you can't "see" my comic / image (if you're technical), here's the main point of it...

Shortly after Michael Jackson died, I've seen a ton of Myspace and Facebook statuses posted, all about Michael Jackson regardless of whether the person in question liked MJ or not.

I then turned on my TV. Some news stations were already on the "MJ died!" part, others were on the "MJ is being rushed to the hospital for a cardiac arrest!" part (myocardial infarction literally means "death of the heart muscle"). Out of the TV stations, only one decided to confirm his death with the LA coroner that pronounced him dead, and they even said that they were going to confirm the death with the coroner before officially announcing his death. Incidentally, that was CNN who did that.

Look, people die of cardiac arrests and heart attacks everyday. It just isn't as noticeable by people viewing the statistics as it is when a celebrity is the one dying of it. How is it more important that a celebrity dies from cardiac arrest than it is for thousands to die from one?

The part that I had about his "Thriller" song,, then the subsequent arrow to him using that makeup for his skin... it didn't matter what was or wasn't on his skin, he's still human; we all are. He had the makeup-like substance to tend to both the burns he sustained from his Pepsi commercial and his skin disorder, which not only acted as burns but also made patches of his skin white anyway. Perhaps his fat wallet was what saved him from being locked up or from looking like a complete zombie. Who knows.

The only reason I had him say to leave him alone in a seemingly Spears-fashion is that he, indeed, was trying to keep the bulk of his medical problems out of public knowledge.

I do not hate the guy; I do not love the guy. He just wasn't an integral part of my life. The only reason I made any mention of him is because he was an 'integral' part of many lives, regardless of whether they personally knew him or not, liked him or hated him. Go ahead and call it the view of someone who didn't make him such a part of their life and questions why the fame of one automatically dominates his fans' lives, regardless of what happened to him.

    That is true RenardGris.

My math teacher, Mr Puckett, died of a heart attack in March. There was so much pain in the week that followed, and yet you don't see on CNN, "Math Teacher at Taipei American School dies of heart attack". Why should Michael Jackson, a man who had plastic surgery, left out his own ex-wife in his will, was on drugs, and didn't really write that gret of songs, get his fae printedon every newspaper in the world, and not my math teacher, who made math fun for all of his students, a master storyteller, and loved to play math riddles in class, and changed lives forever?

Also, if any of you think that I'm making fun of MJ, I'm not.

I'm just ticked off that so many of you like this man and not a person who cares for you and taught you things such as, "When Life Gives You Lemons, Make Lemonade" rather than "If life gives you an ugly face, (the on that God chose for you and liked it that way) get plastic surgery"

Hi, this has NOTHING to do with MJ, but how come nobody cares about Farra Fawcet?! Everyone thinks MJ is such a big deal, (which he is, no offence,) and no one even cares about  Farra!  Give Farra some respect too, guys! And for everyone who takes offence over this joke, really, there are other things to worry about just don't worry about the simple things! I have full respect for the author of this comic. Thanks!
