    Hey,

Lately I've had another problem with my toondoos. This has happened to me before quite some time ago but now it's here again, I published a toon called "Toondoo V. 2.0". After some time of waiting for it to come up so I could do a little editing that I had forgotten to do, my toon did not register in the "My Toondoos" section.

I then clicked on one of my toons and went to my user profile page with all of my toons, sure enough there it was.

I then checked "My Toondoos" again and it was not there. I decided to wait a little while and go to some other website. So now that I've come back, I check again and it is still not there but I can view it from my profile page.

I then tried to see if it had published to the page correctly at all and looked at the latest section. It was not there either. It is very confusing to me.

Am I not publishing correctly? It works exactly the same when it does work. I don't understand it.

    Hi all,

I know how frustrating this can get.

You need to know something about the three-stroke engine that powers your favourite ToonDoo.com.

    Here is a rough schematic.

As you see, there is A - the server, B - the robot, and C - the forums.

On a fine sunny day, all A B and C will work like well-oiled machines, and you will be fully happy!

Some days, (particularly when the robots demand a pay-rise), B might go down, and while your Toons will be saved by A, they won't be published by B, and won't hence appear on the ToonDoo site. You will get the naked ghost dressing up behind the curtains!! I mean this one below!

Some days, some grand unknown-as-yet bug hits the site and takes it down. Happens very rarely (like once a month or so!) and A stops. B goes useless because there is nothing to feed it. But, C continues happily because it is from a different server, and you can at least share your sorrow about the ToonDoo DownTime.

We constantly strive to ensure A B and C always and continuously work. But, until then, just remember that even if your ToonDoo doesn't appear immediately, it is safe and stored away for the robots to munch on once they are back to work again!

    Happy ToonDooing!
