As I was recently generating a new toondoo which I marked as private for now. I realized it would be a great option to allow us to mark a toon private yet include the option to publish the toon on our blog or website. This might also have the added benefit of reducing offensive toons on the Toondoo site as you wouldn't have to publish the toon on the toondoo site to be able to publish it on a blog or a website.

Thanks for your time and consideration.

That's a bit cruel to ask for!

The lifeblood of a social network is the user-generated-content it has. So, the primary expectation we all have about our users is that they will publicly post their ToonDoos in the gallery here (and, if the whim strikes them, additionally post them elsewhere at a blog)!

Show me one social network (that already has a content gallery) that allows users to create content privately, but publish them elsewhere publicly!

Also, please note that when you publish a ToonDoo anywhere, it continues to have the www.toondoo.com watermark on the right-top, so you are not going to be helping save the ToonDoo name and image, that way!

We are anyway seriously thinking about coming out with a complete child-friendly version of the site and the network, so, hang on, there will be better, easier, more logical ways to handle this inappropriate content problem!

Meanwhile though, please note that even though we don't explicitly allow it, the image you create sits under your My ToonDoos area, and you can pretty much do whatever you want with that image by rightclicking/saving to your local computer, after all!

    Rajendran,

    Cool!!!!

I agree with Mr.John. Anyway, i am not going to remove that toondoo.com label from that toon...So, please consider that option.

Actually, that's also one way to keep this site clean :-)

    Rajendran,

What I was doing when I thought of this was marking a toon private then noting that there was no publish to blog option and I was wanting to publish it to my blog sovereignjohn.wordpress.com as it is my site where I try to get sovereigns thinking outside the box. Even though I wanted the toon to remain private here at Toondoo I still wanted to publish it elsewhere.

Here's the toon in question that I wanted to remain private yet publish elsewhere...

As of now I have marked it to publish here at toondoo because I want to blog this toon.

    PS

I never thought of it as a bad choice for Toondoo in the sense that Toondoo already allows toons to be marked private. I was suggesting an addition to this option.
