My idea is to let the editors on toondoo rank the toondooers based on their ratings that the editor's give or the most editor's pick. Then, each month or each year they would give an award(price money or something) to the top 3(1st gold, 2nd silver, 3rd bronze) toondooers. Or, the awards would be given to the funniest, best drawings, most creative, and more. That way people would be encourge to join toondoo and try their best and the toondooers as well.

    Hi nmichael,

I think the spirit of the ToonDoo community lies in everyone expressing themselves while also appreciating expressive toons, creativity and imagination of other ToonDoeers. There is a monthly contest and a weekly contest which are both theme based so you can always participate there and you will be ranked automatically!

But, to make a ranking system at toondoo and revolve things around competition and winning, am not sure that's a good idea!

This toon sums up how I feel about the how whole reward and competition scenario...

    Meera

p.s. your toons are great, keep them up!

    I'm expecting a comment like that :).

Meerasapra, I totally agree with you, but I'm not saying that this is what toodoo should do. That was just my idea on what people really want and what would make them interested in joining toondoo or any sites. (Just like youtube or other sites).

    Thanks for the comment.
