    Hi Carl,

    I had the same problem, but I found a few ways to make a good cartoon.

    1. think of a joke  you already know, then try to pick the artwork to illustrate it.   

    2. Maybe randomly  pick some artwork,  put it into the cells, and  see how  

    you can move the clips around to spark an idea.

     

    3. find some topic in current events like the newspaper or something

    that happened in the day and try to illustrate it in the strip.

    4. look at other ppl's strips and maybe plagerize a bit, but improving it.

    5. have a bottle of beer , then try thinking of something.

    6. Make the topic something sexi, may attract more ideas.

    Please don't use my tips.
