    It seems that every now and then someone (usually of little IQ and no sense of humour) trips over toodoo and thinks that the most worthwhile contribution is to insult those of us who are just having a bit of fun and enjoying the way each other of us looks at our world.

    I used to get very upset and hurt but now I have worked out the best way of dealing with them - which I now share with you:

    1. Delete their comments on your toon

    2. Ignore them

    3. Ignore them some more

    They usually soon get bored of having no reaction and go annoy some other sites...

    The good news is that the rest of us are still here and still having fun!

    Hi Caryloliver, your suggestions are great for comments and I use them, too. However, this message was emailed to me via the Toondoo messaging tool. I really don't appreciate anyone contacting me with such crude remarks. I certainly don't send harassing emails to others, and appreciate members acting in a civilized, decent manner if they feel they are old enough and responsible enough to join a forum, and especially if they opt to message other members. If they aren't of an age or maturity to use messaging appropriately then perhaps they shouldn't be here? 

    But thanks Caryloliver and everyone who has shown me moral support, I appreciate it! Smile

    Well what a delightful message (NOT)! This is why so many Dooers have left ToonDoo before, and I know from personal experience how saddening it is for yourself, but whats really saddening is that the dooer actually took their time to make someone feel bad, as it was a waste.

      I know it's hard to ignore remarks that are given so directly but just remember what I said before and you could be laughing. (most likely not, but give it a try Wink)

    This is more harmful to the one what sent it than hopefully the one who received it. Most likely this person will end up in prison for the rest of their life while subDes will still have her wonderful husband and children.

    There's nothing like a loving family and friends to make life a joy.

    Obviously from the letter subDes received this person has neither joy nor family or friends. Just a smuck with nothing of their own except pain. Who's life would we want to live? The life of creative joy or the life of a pain ridden smuck, who most likely has been abandoned from any kind of love from those around him.

    The letter is a cry for help. The only attention this person can get is us writing about his letter. This is attention but its not the attention of a loving family or friend and like empty calories it doesn't fulfill for long till a new fix is needed.

    So very sad

    Can anyone translate this? Not quite as succinct as subdes got but part of an ongoing campaign that komkomer appears to have mounted against me:

    "YOU are spammer because no 1 cane have so not much comments but so much views so you are noooob and i now i m also a noob but not so hard that I spam with so mutch because youre NOOB!"

     

    What recourse to we have against these creatures??
