Ethics, Morals, Etc..: Popular Toondoos

I like Golf as a game, more than I do Tennis.
I play neither, but I am talking about the winner's motive and the competitor's aim here.
While in tennis, it is not the question of getting the perfect serve in, or the dream backhand in place, it is just a slugfest where you just need to send the ball over the net one more time than your opponent....
Quality suffers there, and we are reduced to individual competition and oneupmanship.
On the other hand, compare that with golf.
At golf, your competitor is not even ACTIVE, when you are at your game!
The question is not of comparison, it is of winning the elements, conquering the course, getting the perfect drive, putt, whatnot.

I hope you get the message.
Ponder not what other ToonDooers do to get their bean counters hiked up. Just churn out more and more creative ToonDoos, and watch the world sit up and take notice!
The numbers will pour in. Trust me on that!

When I started with ToonDoo I did not get any comments and I realised that there were some who obviously knew each other better because they had all been playing in this playground for longer than me. But I was having too much fun to worry and the suddenly I started to get the odd editor pick and then I started to get comments and now I am just another of those kids having fun!!!

I also keep a look out for new toons from those that I enjoy ( Meerespara jumps to mind because I like like the thought process...) and there are more and more that I check out regularly - so I guess they will get more comments from me.

It is all just a matter of time and doing toons that others respond to.
